It is my privilege to introduce to you the Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hong Kong (BCCIHK), the first Bangladeshi Chamber in Hong Kong, Macau and China established by the Bangladesh business community in Hong Kong.
This marks the fulfillment of a long held dream by the Bangladeshi business community and all the Bangladeshi individuals living in Hong Kong, Macau and China.
In recent years, the socio, political and business relationship between Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Macau and China has increased multi-fold.
The business friendly environment and competitive corporate tax structure has encouraged many Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to establish successful businesses in Hong Kong.
At same time, Bangladesh has become one of Asia’s most investment friendly countries, and its low cost labor has attracted many Companies from Hong Kong, Macau and China to invest in Bangladesh.
In closing, BCCIHK will remain steadfast in its commitment to engage and work with all key stakeholders as we plan to create a better Chamber and a better Hong Kong. As always, we look forward to constructive interaction throughout the year with the Bangladesh and Hong Kong SAR Government, the vibrant international business community, and Hong Kong’s entrepreneurs and community leaders.
